Enjoyed our stay in beautiful Rodney Bay. My husband and I made the right choice for our vacation. The hospitality Hector provided was superb. He will arrange transportation to/from the airport which is advisable instead of trying to drive yourself. We strongly recommend his place for the view of the bay and that constant ocean breeze! Great place to just relax and do nothing if you want to.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Hector’s place. The space is exactly as shown, even better. The patio was lovely and the pool was so refreshing. The unit was nice and clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Hector was a phone call away if anything was needed. The unit and location are a prefect base to explore the lovely island of St Lucia.

Hector is great! Lively, fun and incredibly helpful. Just walk out of your suite onto the spacious decking area and into a fabulous pool. Perfect!

Hector and Gale were really great hosts. They were super friendly – inviting us out to a local street fish bbq in Gros Islet as soon as we arrived – it would have been so easily to say no thank you after our long journey but it turned out to be one of the most authentic parts of our week, tasting real Creole cuisine in an informal setting. A perfect start to our holiday. The apartment’s setting was great overlooking Rodney Bay and away from the huddle and bustle of the tourists. Spent time golfing, boating, swimming, snorkeling and watching the Windies and England playing cricket. All in all a very enjoyable break. Thank you Di and Mark

Don’t hesitate , just book it. You will kick yourself if somebody gets the dates you want. This place is absolutely fabulous, described perfectly in the blurb and with absolutely views to die for, from the pool balcony. Cleanliness was first class. The hosts (Hector and Gayle) made sure everything was as you would expect, keeping a low profile but were available if you needed anything. Would go again in a heartbeat. Len and Barbara 25.03.2018

The deck, view, and location were unbeatable and made our trip to St Lucia 10x better. 10-15 min walk to the bars, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores in Rodney bay and very close to the marina. We spent all of our non-exploration time on the deck. The hammock gives you an amazing view of the bay during the day and all of the stars at night. We even had a couple of rainy days where we stayed under the covered area and enjoyed the sounds and view. Pool was warm and clean. There was also a TV with plenty of US channels for our lazy moments Hector was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit!

We stayed at RBS end of January 2020 and we have nothing but amazing things to say. The place is spotless, the deck is beautiful to relax on, the views are better than the photos. Highly recommend catching a couple sunsets with a glass of wine, local beer, rum, whatever. The pool is perfect after a long day in the sun. Walking to distance to shops, bars, restaurants, the beach etc. Hector is one of the best hosts we have ever had. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and the whole island. Always available either in person or by phone which is provided free of charge. His rates for rental cars are well below the going rate and are a great way to see the whole island. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

What an amazing find!! Hector’s place is incredible. The view into Rodney Bay is stunning, the suite is comfortable and clean, and the pool and deck area is large and relaxing. Everyone is really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We hired a great little car from Hector, who also gave us local recommendations and advice. It’s really quiet in the neighbourhood (apart from the wildlife!) and you can quite happily spend a lazy day by the pool or take a short walk to the matina, beach or village. We recommend 7th Heaven bakery for great pastries at breakfast, Gros islet for local food, and pigeon island for quiet beaches. We will definitely be back!

Hector’s place was great. Very beautiful and clean. I was happy the mattress was king sized, but could be a little more comfortable for my tests. However, both beds I had at the places I stayed in St Lucia weren’t what I was used to. I recommend renting a car as we spent quite a bit on taxis and the walk up and down the hill is doable but tiring! All in all though very much enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in Gros-Islet for one week and enjoyed every minute. The pictures are very representative as to what you will find – maybe even a bit understated. The pool and deck area are shared between two AirBnB units on the lower floor of a three story building build on the side of a hill. Part of the charm of this rental is its location but we had a difficult time finding the place – St. Lucia doesn’t have street addresses and the AirBnB map location was wrong. No problem – a call to Hector cleared everything up. The rental has a combined living room kitchen area as shown in the pictures. The room is entered from the deck through two large french doors. Great setup as both doors can be left open to help with the St. Lucia humidity.

Modern & Luxurious with Sea View
Hector’s place was great! The view was amazing, about 15min walk to the beach. Steep uphill on the way back, but taxis are available everywhere. He provided a cell phone for us which was nice to be able to contact him and make local calls. One other suite beside us, and Hector lives upstairs, so nice and quiet and private.

A great apartment inside and out with the best view of the bay and perfect hosts. Enough room for 2-3 people with everything from beach/bath towels to crockery/kitchen utensils. A perfect choice for my first time on the island, will definitely suggest to visiting family.

Hector’s place was awesome! We found the luxury was in the ambiance of the deck with lovely swimming pool and outside shower. With my recent foot surgery swimming every day was fantastic and the water temperature PERFECT!Also the spacious deck area appealed to us ;with the adjacent covered sitting areas very nice especially when the sun was the hottest… With the lovely plants and fruit bearing trees surrounding the property ;we were able to look out over Rodney Bay Marina with a glass of wine and watch the boat action…Read more
